What have robots got to do with learning? 

Working with a piece of hardware opens up many doors. It nurtures future designers, builders, programmers and problem-solvers. Wheels, actuators, switches, and sensors introduce larger lessons such as the role of human-tech interfaces, and even ethics. I've found robotics to be a great hook to get students excited about other STEM disciplines.
